Reanda International is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Mitsuo Kubo, CEO of Reanda Japan, as the regional president of the Asia and Oceania region of Reanda International, effective 10 December 2019 for a three-year term.
The regional president is an honorable position and the appointment is subject to the CEO’s recommendation and approval of the board of directors for a term of three years renewable. The appointment of Mr. Kubo was recommended by the CEO and unanimously endorsed and approved by the board of directors on 10 December 2019. With his new role, Mr. Kubo’s key activity would assist the CEO in coordinating the members’ affairs and acting as a facilitator for communication and exchange between member firms in the Asia and Oceania region.
Mr. Kubo is the CEO at Reanda Japan. He is currently the vice-chairman of the Merger and Acquisition panel and he was the director of Reanda International from 2010 to 2016.
Prior to the appointment of Mr. Kubo, the CEO of Reanda International was responsible for the relevant duties with no regional president required in this region. In view of the increasing members internationally and in an effort to enhance the communication and exchange between member firms in the Region, the regional president for the Asia and Oceania region was appointed. With the appointment of the regional president, our goal in 2020 onwards is to continuously work on to strengthen our presence in Asia and Oceania while promoting the Reanda brand internationally and providing more invaluable business opportunities for our members.
Presently, there are three regions established including the Asia & Oceania region, the Southeast Asia & South Asia region and the new Europe region. Currently there are 7 network firms (member firms and correspondent firms) including Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and Kazakhstan in the Asia and Oceania region (Excluding China*). *The China member firm is separately coordinated by the international presidents from the Reanda International Beijing headquarters.
