CEO of Reanda International visited Saudi Arabia and UAE

From 2 – 5 January 2023, Mr. Franklin Lau, CEO of Reanda International visited Saudi Arabia. During his stay, he visited Reanda Saudi Arabia’s head office in the capital city Riyadh, attended the International Conference on Accountancy Education forum organised by the Saudi Organization for Chartered and Professional Accountant (SOCPA), paid courtesy visits to the Chinese embassy and local enterprises together with Reanda Saudi Arabia partner to explore business opportunities and further promote the Reanda brand in the country.

In the morning of 3 January, Mr. Lau conducted a visit to the head office in Riyadh of Reanda Saudi Arabia and had a working meeting with Mr. Rashed Awaji, managing partner of the firm and his team. It was followed by a visit to the Riyadh Bank, one of the largest financial institution in Saudi Arabia, together with the team. During this meeting, several topics of interest were discussed with the bank’s senior executives while Mr. Lau introduced and presented Reanda International as well as the top audit quality control of the global network empowered by the network’s global monitoring review programme.

On 4 January, as arranged by Reanda Saudi Arabia, Mr. Lau joined with Mr. Rashed Awaji and his team to attend the International Conference on Accountancy Education forum organised by the SOCPA which was taken place at the Riyadh International Convention and Exhibition Center. During the conference, Mr. Lau was honored to meet with Dr. Ahmad A. Almeghames, CEO of SOCPA. Mr. Lau was then interviewed by a national TV station in Saudi Arabia where he shared with the press Reanda's mission, as well as its active participation in facilitating the mutual collaboration of business enterprises and accounting firms between China, Saudi Arabia as well as other countries.

Later that day, as arranged by the Reanda International Beijing headquarters, the Reanda delegation led by Mr. Lau paid a courtesy visit to meet with Mr. Xie Qinsheng, Minister-Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs of the Chinese Embassy in Saudi Arabia in his office. During the meeting, Mr. Lau introduced the latest development of the network and its member firm in Saudi Arabia. The delegation discussed on recent business activities of Chinese enterprise in Saudi Arabia.

On 9 January, Mr. Lau visited Dubai, UAE to meet with Mr. Leo Li, Chief Financial Officer of the China Construction Middle East Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation – Fortune 500 company, together with Mr. Sunil Jagetiya and Mr. Avinash Jagetiya, chairman and managing director of Reanda UAE respectively. Mr. Li and the Reanda delegates exchanged ideas and views on the latest development of both sides and further explored potential cooperation between China Construction and Reanda member firms in the Middle East region. It was followed by a visit to the new office in DMCC of Reanda UAE and had a working meeting with Mr. Sunil Jagetiya and Mr. Avinash Jagetiya to learn the latest development of the firm and potential collaboration between UAE and other members in the region.
