Chairman and CEO of Reanda International visited Nepal

A Reanda International delegation of four led by Chairman Mr. Huang Jinhui and CEO Mr. Franklin Lau visited Nepal from 25 to 27 July 2018. During the visit, the team paid courtesy visits to the Chinese embassy, Chinese business chamber, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal and key Reanda clients in Nepal along with Reanda Nepal partners to explore potential cooperation opportunities and further promote the Reanda brand in Nepal.

The morning of 26th July was started by a visit to Reanda Nepal’s office, the Reanda International delegates were warmly received by the Reanda Nepal team and had a working meeting with Mr. Bharat Rijal, Mr. Gopal Prasad Pokharel, Mr. Bishnu Prasad Bhandari, Mr. Abhaya Poudel and Mr. Utsaha Bhattarai, Mr. Anjan Kumar Dahal and Mr. Manoj Ghimire, partners and leaders of Reanda Nepal as well as their legal and IT to exchange the ideas on potential business opportunities within the network.

Followed with the meeting, the Reanda delegation led by the Chairman and CEO, including Mr. Rijal, Mr. Bhandari and other Reanda International head office personnel paid courtesy visit to China Enterprise Association in Nepal (CEAN) and met with Mr. Wang Ziyang, President of CEAN and Managing Director of the Nepal branch office of China Gezhouba Group, a listed Chinese power construction and engineering company. A number of deas were discussed by both parties, including but not limited to the potential services to be provided to the Chinese enterprises in Nepal.

In the afternoon, the Reanda delegation visited the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal (ICAN) to meet with Mr. Jagannath Upadhyay Niraula, and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Sinha, the President and Executive Director of ICAN respectively. During the meeting, the Reanda delegation learnt the latest development of the accounting and audit profession in Nepal. Mr. Niraula and Mr. Shinha also encouraged the cooperation between Reanda International and Reanda Nepal firm to assist enterprises doing business in Nepal and other Asian countries.

In the morning of 27th July, the Reanda delegation met with Mr. Krishna Bahadur Mahara, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of Nepal, central committee member of Communist Party of Nepal and former Finance Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister. Mr. Huang presented the latest development of the Reanda network to Mr. Mahara. Mr. Mahara was impressed with the vision of our Asia-based Network. He also encouraged our active participation in facilitating the mutual collaboration of the business enterprises and accounting firms between Nepal and other Asian countries.

After that it was followed by a meeting with Mr.Teng Jianhua, Managing Director of the Nepal branch office of Huaxin Cement Co. Ltd, a leading player in the manufacturing and marketing of cement products in China. The Reanda delegation included Mr. Rijal, Mr. Bhandari, Mr. Anjan Kumar Dahal and other Reanda International head office personnel were warmly received by Mr. Teng. Both parties discussed and explored potential cooperation opportunities for mutual benefits.

After that was a courtesy visit by the Reanda delegation led by the Chairman and CEO, including Mr. Rijal, Mr. Bhandari, Mr. Poudel and other Reanda International head office personnel, accompanied by Mr. Teng Jianhua, to the Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Chinese embassy in Nepal to meet with Minister Counsellor Mr. Zhang Fan as a strong finish of the visit. The Chairman Mr. Huang presented a brief overview on the development of the network. Mr. Zhang encouraged Reanda’s continuing efforts in providing comprehensive and quality professional services to the Chinese enterprises investing in Nepal so as to capture the business wave arising from the Belt and Road Initiative.

While the visits brought an excellent opportunity for Reanda International and Reanda Nepal to promote the Reanda brand locally, it also assisted our member to get connected with the Chinese enterprises for identifying business opportunities.
