Chairman and CEO of Reanda International visited the UK

From 29 April to 2 May 2018, Chairman Mr. Huang Jinhui and CEO Mr. Franklin Lau visited the UK to attend the Grand Opening Ceremony of the new office of Reanda UK held on 1 May 2018. During the trip, Mr. Huang and Mr. Lau also paid courtesy visits to meet with government officials, as well as representatives of Chinese chamber and Chinese enterprises in the UK together with Reanda UK partners on 30 April, 2018.

The morning of 30 April was started with a courtesy visit to the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy led by Mr. Huang. The Reanda delegation included CEO Mr. Lau, Director of Reanda International Mr. Tanny Yu, and Reanda UK partners Mr. Robert Bean and Mr. Alain Stechler as well as personnel from the Reanda International Beijing headquarter and Reanda UK office were honored to meet with Mr. Jin Xu, Minister Counsellor of the Economic and Commercial Office of the Chinese Embassy in the UK. Mr. Huang and Mr. Lau introduced and presented the recent development of the network to Counsellor Mr. Jin Xu and the delegation engaged in dynamic discussions with on the business activities of Chinese enterprises in the UK. The Reanda team also expressed their gratefulness for the advices and support from Counsellor Mr. Jin since Reanda team’s last visit back in 2016.

Followed by the meeting, the delegation met with Ms. Cheng Jianfang, Deputy director of the London office of Zhongguancun Science Park, the first high-tech park in China with 20,000 new and high-tech companies in its demonstration zone. The Reanda delegation and Ms. Cheng had an interactive discussion on exploring potential cooperation opportunities between Reanda network, Reanda UK and the Chinese enterprises in the UK.

The day was ended by a courtesy visit to the China Chamber of Commerce in the UK (CCCUK) and Bank of China (UK) Limited to meet with Mr. Sun Yu, Chairman of CCCUK and CEO of the Bank of China (UK) Limited; Ms. Wu Lin, Secretary General of CCCUK and General Manager of the Comprehensive Management Department of Bank of China (UK) Limited. The Reanda delegation learnt the latest development of Chinese enterprises in the UK while exchanged ideas and views with the representatives on active participation in facilitating the mutual collaboration of the business enterprises between China and UK.

Such fruitful visits promoted the Reanda profile in the UK and created a brilliant opportunity in assisting our member to get connected with the Chinese enterprises for identifying business prospects.
