Chairman and CEO of Reanda International visited UAE

From 16-17 July 2017, Chairman Mr. Huang Jinhui and CEO Mr. Franklin Lau of Reanda International visited the UAE member firm and paid courtesy visits to meet with local government officials, representatives of the business organizations, client offices together with the UAE partners to promote the Reanda brand in the UAE.

On 16 July, led by Mr. Huang, the delegation included Mr. Lau, the Dubai team partners Chairman and founder Mr. Sunil Jagetiya, Managing Partner Mr. Avinash Jagetiya, Director of Corporate Finance Mr. Mahavir Hingar, visited the office of Ajman Free Zone to meet with Mr. Faisal AI Nuaimi and Mr. Rishi Somaiya, Deputy Director and General Director of Sales at Ajman Free zone Authority respectively. Mr. Faisal AI Nuaimi introduced to the Reanda delegates the latest development of the Ajman Free zone and their focus to attract the Chinese investments. A presentation about the missions and coming development of Reanda International as well as the vision of Reanda’s One Belt One Road strategies was done for the officials of the Ajman Free Zone. Mr. Faisal AI Nuaimi was impressed with the vision of our oriental-based Network and the development strategies. He also encouraged our active participation in facilitating the mutual collaboration of the business enterprises between UAE and other Asian countries. The two parties also exchanged views on the road show of the Ajman Free zone which shall be held in China in the near term. 

On the same day, the Reanda delegation also visited the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to meet with Mr. Omar Abdulaziz Khan, Director of International Office of the Dubai Chamber of Commerce to learn the latest development of the Chamber and its globalisation approach to incorporate representative offices overseas for strengthening industry ties with key markets around the world. During the meeting, Mr. Omar Abdulaziz Khan also shared his invaluable insights on the strategic development of the Reanda network using Middle East as a springboard into the markets of Eastern and Northern Africa.

The schedule of the day also included a visit to the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) to meet with Mr. Gautam Sashittal and Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Mohammed, CEO and client manager of DMCC respectively. Mr. Huang and Mr. Lau introduced and presented the recent development of the network. In the meeting, Mr. Gautam Sashittal introduced the benefits of starting business in DMCC and its strategies in attracting Chinese investment. Both parties exchanged views on the penetration of free zone services and how foreign investments cohere with the economy of UAE through these services.

In addiiton to the above visits, the Reanda delegation led by Chairman Mr. Huang paid a courtesy visit to the Chinese Business Council in UAE and met with Mr. Zhou Guangyao, Secretary General of the Council. During the meeting, several topics of interest were discussed included but not limited to potential business opportunities to be provided by Reanda UAE to the Chinese enterprises in UAE.

The day of 17 July began with a courtesy visit to the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Dubai led by Chairman Mr. Huang Jinhui. Mr. Huang, Mr. Franklin Lau and the three Dubai team partners were honored to meet with Mr. Jin Lei, Commercial Counselor, Economic and Commercial Section of the Consulate General of the People's Republic of China in Dubai and engaged in discussions on the latest development of Chinese's business activities in Dubai.

The visit was followed by a visit to the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority (JAFZA) to meet with Mr. Khalid AIMarzooqi and Mr. Yue Xiaolei, senior manager and senior advisor of the department of international business in Asia Pacific market of JAFZA respectively. Mr. AIMarzooqi introduced to the Reanda delegates the latest development of the Jebel Ali Free Zone. Both parties exchanged views on the strategies of attracting Chinese investment in the Jebel Ali Free Zone Authority.

The remainder of the afternoon included a visit to meet with the senior executives from the China Construction Middle East Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Reanda China’s client China State Construction Engineering Corporation which is a Chinese construction company ranked the 3rd largest in the world. Mr. Leo Lee, Chief Financial Officer and Mr. Mo Chonggang, Deputy Finance Director of the office warmly welcomed the delegates. Both the representatives of China Construction Middle East Co., Ltd and the Reanda delegates exchanged ideas and views on facilitating Chinese enterprises to conduct business in the UAE. They also discussed potential opportunities in exploring cooperation in the areas of training on VAT issues.

The day was ended by a visit to the Dubai office of Reanda UAE. A working meeting was held with the Dubai team partners Mr. Sunil Jagetiya, Mr. Avinash Jagetiya, and Mr. Mahavir Hingar of the firm, to discuss potential business opportunities within the network.

While the visits brought an excellent opportunity for Reanda International and Reanda UAE to promote the Reanda brand locally, it also assisted our member to get connected with the Chinese enterprises for identifying business opportunities.
