China Desk road-show: Australia

Reanda International successfully hosted a China Desk road-show in Australia with the coordination from Reanda Australia. A six-member Reanda delegation including Mr. Huang Jinhui and Mr. Kevin Tang, Chairman and Director of Reanda International respectively, Mr. Peter Polgar and Mr. Howard Ting, Executive Chairman and Director of Reanda Australia as well as other representatives of Reanda International Beijing headquarters and Reanda Australia, paid courtesy visits to meet with local government officials, representatives of local regulatory body of professional accountants and the business organization to promote Reanda brand and the China Desk in Australia from 12 to 16 September, 2014.

On 12 September, the Reanda delegation led by Mr. Huang Jinhui met with Mr. Hu Shanjun, Chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA) and General Manager & Country Head of Bank of China in Australia, Mrs. Jia Li, Secretary General of CCCA and Deputy Head – Corporate Banking of Bank of China in Australia and Mr. Liu Quan, the Head of Executive Office of Bank of China in Australia respectively in Sydney. A presentation about the missions and coming development of Reanda International was done by Mr. Huang. In addition, Mr. Huang and Mr. Polgar presented Mr. Hu and his team with the latest development of Reanda International’s China Desk program which meticulously addresses the business needs of Chinese and local enterprises by providing a full spectrum of professional services. Mr. Hu was impressed with the vision of our Asia-based network and he warmly welcomed the joining of Reanda Australia as a member company of CCCA. A number of issues were also discussed by both parties, including but not limited to the recent development of the local Chinese conglomerates.

On 15 September, the Reanda delegation was honored to meet with Mr. Huang Rengang, the Minister Counsellor for Economic and Commercial Affairs of China Embassy in Australia and Mr. Liu Peng, the Third Secretary for Economic and Commercial Affairs of China Embassy in Australia at its office located in Canberra. In addition to the presentation about the missions and development of Reanda International and the China Desk program delivered by Mr. Huang Jinhui, Mr. Huang Rengang and the Reanda delegation engaged in gracious discussions on the latest development of Chinese's business activities in Australia. In light of the opportunities and potentials fuelled by huge market potential of China, Mr. Huang Rengang encouraged Reanda International's continuous development of the China Desk program as well as the involvement in strengthening the ties between the business enterprises and accounting firms in Australia, China and other Asia-Pacific countries.

On 16 September, the Reanda delegation led by Mr. Polgar had meeting with Mr. Alex Mally, the CEO of CPA Australia. Mr. Huang Jinhui presented a brief overview of Reanda International's history, mission, the achievement as well as the development of the China Desk in Reanda Australia. The presentation was followed by a lively dialogue between the two parties on the topics of mutual interest. The Reanda delegation expressed during the meeting the sincerest welcome for members of CPA Australia with Chinese background to join the China Desk in Reanda Australia.

Later that day, Mr. Huang and Mr. Tang concluded a visit to the Sydney office of Reanda Australia. A working group discussion with Mr. Peter Polgar, Mr. Howard Ting and Mr. Edmund So, Chief Executive Officer & Business Development Executive of Reanda Australia was held to discuss the potential business opportunities within the Network and the continuous development of the China Desk in Australia.

While the China Desk road-show in Australia brought an excellent opportunity for Reanda International and Reanda Australia to promote the Reanda brand locally, it also assisted our member to get connected with the Chinese enterprises for identifying business opportunities. Armed with in-depth local market knowledge and supported up by professionals with extensive knowledge in Chinese accounting standard and regulations, we believe the China Desk in Australia will continue to strengthen our capacity to serve the multinational conglomerates investing in and out of China.

Mr. Huang , Mr. Tang and other representatives of Reanda International Beijing headquarters also hosted the China Desk road-show in Malaysia on 18 September after the visit to Australia.
