Datuk LL Koong JP, Managing Partner of Reanda Malaysia appointed as the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)’s representative in the Interview Panel for Approved Company Auditors 

Datuk LL Koong JP, Managing Partner of Reanda Malaysia was officially appointed by MIA on 30^th March 2026 as its representative in the Interview Panel for Approved Company Auditors.  His appointment is for a two-year term ending on 31 December 2028.

The Interview Panel under the Accountant General’s Department of Malaysia and is empowered by the Ministry of Finance to assess applications and renewals for approved company auditor licences, ensuring that auditors meet the required professional standards and competencies.

The Panel comprises representatives from the following organisations:

1. Accountant General (AG) or AG’s representative (Chairman)
2. Representative from Suruhanjaya Syarikat Malaysia (SSM)
3. Representative from Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA)
4. Representative from Securities Commission (SC)
5. Representative from Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM)
