On 22 March 2023, Reanda Hong Kong and Reanda China successfully co-organized a Hong Kong Financial Market and Initial Public Offerings (IPO) seminar in hybrid format at the head office of Reanda China in Beijing. The seminar was well attended by over 30 partners, personnel and potential clients of Reanda China and Reanda Hong Kong.
The seminar aimed at providing insights on the latest development of IPO in Hong Kong for Chinese enterprises particularly in light of Hong Kong’s biggest listing reform in five years targeting technology companies. It commenced with a presentation delivered by the Reanda International CEO Mr. Franklin Lau about Reanda International and Reanda Hong Kong, as well as his insights about the development of IPO in Hong Kong.
It was then followed by an insightful presentation by Mr. John Chan, Head of Strategic Development of Ample Capital Limited about the general overview and analysis of the IPO environment in Hong Kong.
Following the sharing, there was a presentation by Mr. Paul Chan, Managing Director of Reanda Consulting (HK) Ltd. Mr. Chan shared information about IPO in Hong Kong in the area of compliance and other key factors.
The meeting was further enriched by the presentation of Dr. Sidney Tam, Principal Advisor and Director of Reanda Consulting (HK) Ltd. Dr. Tam explained the common practices of delivering IPO roadshow in Hong Kong, including but not limited to the strategy, structure as well as the length. He also further elaborated on the key considerations of the roadshow, which included but not limited to the company’s business model, risk control system and growth strategy.
Ms. Zhao Xiaowei, directors of Reanda International and Senior Partner of Reanda China, had a sharing of the differences between different stock exchanges and sectors in mainland China.
The seminar was wrapped up by a fruitful discussion and interflows amongst the participants about the financial market and IPO environment in Hong Kong.
