Reanda International's 2022 Annual Conference was held on 19 and 20 December 2022. The two-day annual international members meeting held virtually was well attended by over 100 partners and personnel from 52 global presence of Reanda International, who shared their professional insights, ways of cooperation and explored cross-border opportunities.
The conference theme this year focused on “Sustainable Business Interests: Dependable Market Information”. 2022 is a year of multiple global disruptions and dislocations, an organisation needs to transcend the challenges ahead by knowing those dependable market and economic information in order to protect its interests and keep the business sustainable. Our clients shall find how the experts from Reanda International to resolve their matters.
The first day of the international members meeting commenced with an opening remark and presentation delivered by the Chairman Mr. Huang Jinhui. Chairman Huang shared his insights including but not limited to analysis of global economic development, world GDP as well as Reanda International’s latest achievements and strategic development plan in the near term. It was followed by the presentation on network updates and the Reanda vision about transformation by the CEO Mr. Franklin Lau. The meeting was further brimmed by presentations from Mr. Mitsuo Kubo and Mr. Kenichi Kanai, regional president of the Asia and Oceania region of Reanda International and Head of International Desk of Reanda Japan respectively Mr. L. L. Koong, Mr. Avinash Jagetiya, Mr. Achim Siegmann, regional presidents of the Southeast Asia and South Asia region, Middle East and Africa region and Europe region respectively in relating to the latest development of their respective regions. The meeting was further enriched by presentations by Ms. Zhao Xiaowei, Vice-Chairman of Merger and Acquisition Panel and Mr. L. L. Koong, Chairman of International Tax Panel (ITP) on recent successful respective M&A and tax cases within the network.
The meeting also welcomed the newly joined firms from Azerbaijan, India and Rwanda. Following that, there was an insightful sharing by Dr. Sidney Tam, Principal advisor in Biotech & Telecommunication of Reanda Hong Kong. He shared his perspectives on how to change and move forward together in the global disruptions. The first day meeting concluded with presentations from Reanda Saudi Arabia, Hong Kong and Brazil on various topics in relating to their respective country’s latest opportunities, successful job collaboration between members and the firm’s latest development.
Day two of the meeting continued with the presentations delivered by global technical officer Mr. Kenny Choi about monitoring, remediation and evaluation required in quality management next year. The meeting was then further highlighted by presentations of noteworthy issues in different countries and our network firm’s latest development as shared by network firms from Bangladesh, China, Hong Kong, India, Netherlands, Nigeria and Thailand firms.
In this meeting, members were able to engage with other members for networking and learn the latest development of different regions which facilitated information sharing and members’ collaboration despite meeting remotely. In the closing remarks, the CEO Mr. Franklin Lau expressed his appreciation to all members for their contribution and encouraged all to collaborate with each other to achieve the common goals of transforming the network from “skill-based” to “knowledge-based” and becoming a brand to bring values. It was also announced that the annual conference next year will be held in-person in Beijing, China.
Following the two-day international members meeting, the Reanda International 6th “Belt and Road” Business Services Forum will be held on 27 December 2022 in Beijing China. Themed "Protecting the Economic Interests and Economic Information Security of Chinese Enterprises", the forum is aimed at addressing the issues of overseas investment risks, protection of economic interests as well as managing economic information security in the overseas to better support Chinese enterprises investing abroad. More than 300 guests and delegates including current and former minister counsellors from embassies of China abroad, government and industry leaders, representatives of various chambers of commerce and business service organisations, entrepreneurs, Reanda clients in China will join the Forum physically while global partners and personnel from Reanda International network firms will virtually take part in this significant occasion.
