Reanda International welcomes new member firm from Zimbabwe

Reanda International is delighted to announce the appointment of KRES Chartered Accountants ("KRES") as our member firm in Zimbabwe effective 18 November 2023.

Established in 2018, KRES is a sizeable CPA firm in the local market and is located in the capital Harare, with three partners and 20 employees. Led by managing partner Mr. Emmanuel Dhenhere, the firm provides a wide range of services ranging from audit and assurance, internal audits, forensic investigations/litigations, accounting, tax services, due diligence, business valuations and company secretarial services. The firm’s client base includes but is not limited to local authorities, state-owned enterprises, NGOs, private companies from various sectors, including financial services, insurance, construction and manufacturing.

Managing partner Mr. Emmanuel Dhenhere previously worked in top-tier firms in Zimbabwe for almost a decade. He has served as the Technical Director of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Zimbabwe (ICAZ) and is currently a senior reviewer of ICAZ Training Offices (those that train Chartered Accountants). Partner Dr. Matts Tichaona Kunaka has more than 40 years of professional experience. He served as the President of ICAZ from 2000 to 2001 and as the Chief Executive Officer from 2011 to 2018. He also served at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (the Central Bank) as the Chief of Corporate Governance, Risk Management, and Internal Audit. Dr. Kunaka has worked at two Big 4 firms in Zimbabwe (five years of which were spent in the London office) for over 10 years. Partner Albert Chimbohwayi has over ten years of experience in the accountancy profession. He is a technical consultant of ICAZ and has authored several modules for some local Professional Accountancy Organisations such as the Chartered Governance Institute [formerly The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA). He is an academic tutor of trainee Chartered Accountants as well as an ICAZ Training Office Reviewer.
