On November 22, 2017, an interaction program was organized by Nepal Rastra Bank, the central bank of Nepal on “Mitigation techniques of IT Risk in Banking Sector” in Kathmandu with around 50 participants. High level officials like Chairman, CEO and Head of IT from various commercial banks of Nepal have participated in the program.
Banking sector is exposed to various types of risks while IT risk is one of the important one. To secure and mitigate IT risk, various techniques are to be adopted. In this program, there was interaction among bankers about IT risks that the banks face and their mitigation techniques.
CA. Anil Bhandari, the partner of Reanda India in coordination with Reanda Nepal, have presented the paper based on the program’s theme. It was a very fruitful discussion and Reanda Nepal had addressed various queries of the bankers.
