On 21 March, 2023, Reanda Saudi Arabia successfully hosted a Taxation Seminar at the Braira Hotel in Riyadh. The seminar was well received by some 25 guests and participants, including representatives from large Chinese multinational enterprises including but not limited to China State Construction, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Sinopec Engineering Group Saudi Co.,Ltd, Sinopec Engineering Nanjing Engineering and Construction, Sinopec Service Saudi Arabia, Sinopec Engineering Incorporation, Supcon Saudi, ZTE, China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation, Chint Electric, as well as other business leaders, client representatives, together with representatives from Reanda International Beijing headquarters and HK administrative office.
Aimed at providing updates in respect of the country's companies law for foreign companies, taxes and its implementation, the seminar was opened by Mr. Rashed Awaji, managing partner of Reanda Saudi Arabia. It was followed by a wide range of insightful presentations from the experts of Reanda Saudi Arabia, covering a wide range of topics including Zakat, corporate income tax, capital earnings tax, withholding tax, value-added tax, real estate tax, excise tax, and transfer pricing.
After the presentation, representatives of Chinese enterprises then shared their perspectives and insights about the tax-related issues facing the Chinese enterprises when operating in the Saudi Arabia while both sides also discussed the potential professional services provided by Reanda Saudi Arabia – a leading provider of tax services nationwide with dedicated China Desk to actively support the needs of Chinese clients.
