The 2022 annual Asia & Oceania regional meeting of Reanda International was successfully concluded on 10 November 2022

On 10 November 2022, the annual Reanda International Asia and Oceania regional meeting was held virtually and was well attended by some 23 partners and personnel from the regional member firms across Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan, Macau and Taiwan as well as the Reanda International Beijing headquarters, Hong Kong administrative office, the regional offices from the Southeast Asia & South Asia and the Middle & Africa regions and other member firm as guests.

The meeting, chaired by the Asia and Oceania regional president, Mr. Mitsuo Kubo, aims to facilitate mutual collaboration and strengthen the exchanges among network firms in the region. During the opening speech, Chairman Mr. Huang highlighted the resilient performance of the regional members with a 15% increase in fee income during the period of global volatility as well as the strong momentum of business referrals in the Asia and Oceania region in 2021. The regional president, Mr. Kubo continued the meeting by sharing his insights on strengthening the network’s presence in Asia and Oceania, as well as introducing the latest new laws and regulations that affect doing business in Japan.

The meeting was then followed by an engaging discussion about potential collaboration opportunities between members in Asia and Oceania. Representatives of Reanda members from Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Macau and Australia shared the latest development of their firms respectively. The meeting ended with the closing remark by the CEO of Reanda International Mr. Franklin Lau covering the recent collaboration within the region, progress of the new IT infrastructure enhancement on information exchange between Reanda members, as well as the network’s strategic expansion plan in the last quarter of 2022.

This virtual meeting was concluded successfully with interactive discussions on potential cooperation between regional members as well as sharing of best practices and latest trends together. As global travel continues to open up, we look forward to hosting the regional meetings in-person next year.
