On 27 September 2023, the annual Reanda International Southeast and South Asia regional meeting was successfully held in person and virtually in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The meeting was chaired by Mr. LL Koong, Regional President of the Reanda International Southeast and South Asia region and Managing Partner of Reanda Malaysia. The meeting took place at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre which provided a spacious and ideal area for the meeting, tea breaks, and lunch to facilitate small group discussion and networking. More than 30 partners and personnel from eight Southeast and South Asia network firms across Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Philippines, Singapore, and Thailand, as well as the Reanda International Beijing headquarters and Hong Kong administrative office, attended the meeting.
Mr. Huang Jinhui, Chairman of Reanda International, and Mr. Franklin Lau, CEO of Reanda International, were invited and delivered speeches. During his opening speech, Chairman Huang shared the latest developments and future perspectives of Reanda International and Reanda China with the regional members. CEO Mr. Lau reported the current overview of the Southeast and South Asia network firms. He also shared the discussions made at the previous European, and the Middle East and African regional meetings to collect thoughts and suggestions from the Southeast and South Asia regional members.
During the meeting, representatives of each attending network firm presented their firms’ latest developments and important financial and taxation updates in their jurisdictions. They also had a lively and fruitful discussion on how to strengthen the connection among network firms and exchanged strategies for acquiring large potential clients. To cater to our participants joining virtually, the hosting firm provided quality audio and visual devices which greatly facilitated seamless online video streaming. All participants were driven to share their experiences, showcasing the innovation and solidarity among our members.
The regional meeting was successfully concluded at 4:30 PM Malaysia time, followed by a group visit to the office of Reanda Malaysia which also serves as a lab of professional development. Members had a great opportunity to catch up with each other, discuss potential cooperation opportunities, share best practices, and develop relationships throughout the day, further enhancing the cohesion of Reanda International.
