On November 28, 2024, the prestigious 8th "Belt and Road" Business Services Forum and the 15th Anniversary Celebration of Reanda International took place at the Pullman Hotel in Jakarta, themed "Empowering Cross-Border Enterprises for High-Quality Sustainable Development." This significant event was guided by the Global Alliance for Trade in Services and was hosted by Reanda International with support from various organizations, including the China Association of International Trade, the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, the Accounting Society for Foreign Economic Relations and Trade of China, the China International Chamber of Commerce for the Private Sector, the Tianjin Municipal Bureau of Commerce, the Indonesian Employers Association, the Indonesian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Jimei University Alumni Association of Indonesia. The Forum attracted over 300 attendees, including leaders from the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia, Indonesian government officials, experts and scholars, business representatives, and media from both China and Indonesia. The Forum was moderated by Mr. Franklin Lau, CEO of Reanda International.
In his opening remarks, Mr. Huang Jinhui, Chairman of Reanda International, reflected on the remarkable journey of Reanda International over the past 15 years and expressed heartfelt gratitude for the support from various organizations. He shared an optimistic vision for the future, emphasizing the importance of deepening cooperation to inject new vitality into the development of Reanda International.
Mr. Jiang Zengwei, former Deputy Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Minister of the Ministry of Commerce of PRC, former Party Secretary and Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, and Chairman of the Board of the Global Alliance for Trade in Services, delivered a keynote speech. He provided an in-depth analysis of the profound significance of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, commending its positive role in promoting global economic development. He also shared the achievements of China and Indonesia in various fields and envisioned new prospects for high-quality development between the two countries.
Mr. Sun Shangbin, Vice Chairman of the China Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia and President of the Bank of China Jakarta Branch, expressed his anticipation for the Forum in his remarks. He hoped that the Forum would facilitate the exploration of new pathways for cooperation between China and Indonesia, promoting mutual economic development.
Mr. Riyatno, Deputy Chairman for Investment Climate Development at the Ministry of Investment and Downstream Industries/BKPM of the Republic of Indonesia, provided a comprehensive analysis of Indonesia's investment environment from multiple perspectives, detailing new policies to offer valuable investment insights to the attendees.
During Reanda International's 15th Anniversary Celebration Ceremony, Ms. Zhou Hongtao, Senior Partner of Reanda China, hosted the proceedings. Chairman Mr. Huang shared his reflection on the achievements and challenges faced by Reanda International over the past 15 years. He elaborated on Reanda's development journey, vision, unique business advantages, and future plans, providing attendees with a deeper understanding of the Network.
Following that, Reanda International proudly announced the launch of Reanda Consulting Network and formalized a strategic cooperation agreement with the Grand Batang City in Indonesia.
Additionally, Reanda International announced new network firms from Kenya and Morocco and Reanda Indonesia announced the release of the publication "Indonesia Investment Guide (2024)".
Additionally, the launch ceremony of the Tianjin "Going Global" Service Alliance was held.
During the keynote presentation session, several Indonesian business and political figures took the stage. Mr. Agung Wicaksono, Deputy of Financing and Investment of Nusantara Capital City, shared the investment overview of Indonesia’s new capital, Nusantara. Ms. Pande Putu Oka Kusumawardani, Head of National Revenue Policy of the Fiscal Policy Agency of the Finance Ministry of the Republic of Indonesia, presented the tax and customs incentives in Indonesia. Mr. Angga Brahmana Sukma, Marketing Director of Grand Batang City, presented the Indonesia strategic project investment opportunities in Grand Batang City. Ms. Kani Tillansia Pranata, Corporate Relationship Manager of Bank of Central Asia, discussed the roles of financial institutions in global business epansions.
During the subsequent panel discussion, Mr. L.L. Koong, Regional President of the Southeast Asia and South Asia of Reanda International and Managing Partner of Reanda Malaysia, served as the moderator. He invited various enterprise representatives and experts from both countries to engage in in-depth discussions on the theme "Seizing Opportunities and Meeting Challenges for High-Quality Development of Cross-Border Enterprises under the “Belt and Road” Initiative." Panelists included Mr. Cahyo Purnomo, Investment Promotion Director-Indonesia Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM); Mr. Alvin Christian, CFO and CRO of Indonesia Healthcare Corporation (IHC) and Secretary General of CFO Club Indonesia; Mr. Dan Chen, China and Indonesia "Two Countries, Twin Parks" Batang Industrial Park Project, Chairman of the Board of Wanxinda Holdings; Mr. Tiger Sun, Director of PT Fotile Electrical Appliance Indonesia; Ms. Michelle Bernardi, CEO of Reanda Indonesia; and Mr. Abdullah Alsemail, Eastern Region Manager, Reanda Saudi Arabia. They shared their insights, proposing solutions and measures for the challenges faced by cross-border enterprises operating overseas, and offered recommendations on how business service organizations can better provide professional services to these enterprises.
The Forum featured innovative and thoughtfully designed sessions, with sharp insights and unique perspectives from speakers, leaving attendees enriched by the experience. Amidst applause, the Forum concluded successfully, paving the way for future collaboration and development of Reanda International.
