The Southeast Asia and South Asia annual regional meeting of Reanda International was held through video conference on 27 April 2021. A total of 19 partners and personnel from seven network firms in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nepal, Pakistan and Singapore from the region as well as Reanda International Beijing headquarters and Hong Kong administrative office attended the meeting.
The meeting, chaired by the regional president Mr. L.L. Koong of the Southeast Asia and South Asia region, aims to facilitate mutual collaboration and strengthen the exchanges amongst network firms in the region. The meeting was kicked off by the opening remarks made by the Chairman Mr. Huang Jinhui and the CEO Mr. Franklin Lau. Chairman Mr. Huang highlighted the resilience performance of the regional members during a challenging pandemic year as well as the strong momentum of referral cases in the Southeast Asia and South Asia region. He also introduced the enhanced structure of Beijing headquarters for providing better services and resources available to Reanda members. Mr. Franklin Lau, the CEO of Reanda International briefed about the network’s latest progress of seeking Forum of Firms full membership and the implementation of the global monitoring programme. Mr. Koong continued the meeting by presenting the regional members’ participation in the network’s activities in 2020 and encouraging members’ active participation.
During the meeting, Mr. Larry Ng, partner of Reanda Cambodia; Ms. Michelle Bernardi, managing partner of Reanda Indonesia; Mr. Bishnu Prasad Bhandari, partner of Reanda Nepal; Mr. Muhammad Farooq, senior manager of Reanda Pakistan and Ms. Vivienne Chiang, managing partner of Reanda Singapore presented their firms’ latest development under COVID-19. The meeting concluded with useful and passionate discussions on potential cooperation between regional members as well as expectation and suggestions for Reanda International. All the valuable ideas and suggestions were recorded for further assessment and determination.
