Yonyou Hong Kong + Reanda “Reimagining financial innovation with emerging technology” seminar was successfully concluded

On 22 October 2021, the seminar “Reimagining financial innovation with emerging technology”, hosted by Chinese leading enterprise service provider Yonyou and co-hosted by Reanda International and Reanda Hong Kong, was held at Yonyou Hong Kong office. The seminar was well attended by 40 senior management and financial executives from medium-sized businesses and large corporations.

The seminar commenced with opening speech delivered by Mr. Franklin Lau, CEO of Reanda International. Mr. Lau expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to collaborate with Yonyou to co-host a seminar for the first time and introduced the background and latest development of Reanda International. Mr. Kenny Choi, audit and quality control partner of Reanda Hong Kong, presented the practical issues encountered on group financial reporting, which included the impacts of new/ revised financial reporting standards and the manual work in the group financial reporting process. Mr. Sammy Tam, director of Reanda Hong Kong management consulting division, shared his insights on the practical issues on reporting Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)/ Environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) information, including the problems on capturing and reporting CSR/ ESG information and how IT intelligence may help.

Ms. Jane Yan, senior consultant of Yonyou Hong Kong shared how software could unleash the power of intelligence in financial management, covering global centralised financial management and the building of a global FSSC. The seminar was concluded by the closing remarks given by Mr. Bowen Guo, general manager of Yonyou Hong Kong.

While Reanda International’s global member firms have collaboration with Yonyou Group on various business projects in recent years, this seminar being the first collaboration between Reanda International and Yonyou Group at the technical knowledge sharing level indeed marked a deepening of collaboration with the Yonyou Group in multidisciplinary spheres.
